The history of hotel Regitnig begins in 1911. Guests from Vienna, Graz and Hungary came already around 1920, in order to enjoy their „summer-retreat “in „Villa Regitnig “at Lake Weissensee. The luggage went by horse cart and guests arrived on foot from Greifenburg via the Kreuzberg mountain - this is how the holidays began at that time. All rooms were equipped with

running water in 1931 thus making Hotel Regitnig the first house with such comfort at Lake Weisensee. The Eder family have been directing the fate of the house for four generations. The name Regitnig stands for tradition. Much has changed in the course of time but one thing remained: a warm welcome and the endeavour to let your holiday dreams come true.
